It's French Friday and this weeks recipe is Tourteau de chevre
The start:
no, the wine is not in the recipe but was part of the experience, and yes that is my sewing machine in the background |
The finish:
The boys liked this one. I was a little less enthusiastic. However, I bet I will love it for breakfast! It was fairly easy to put together, and I was surprised how much the boys liked it as it isn't very sweet
Not sure if we will go for this one again. BUT, it was worth a go. and, hey! now I own a springform pan.

Looks great to me, and I'm glad the boys enjoyed
it. Since we worked together on this recipe, Tricia
and I divided the results and we both thought it
was really good. Now that you have a spring form
pan you can make many other great recipes.
Your boys are so cute! My siblings ate all the tourteaux I made but I don't think they'd let me take pics of them and put them on my blog. Your tourteau looks great :D
Hate to say it, but Dorie has been a great reason to fill up my kitchen! Hope you love your new springform pan. And your boys have great taste. Your cake looks fabulous!
I am inseparable from my springform pan. I think your tart is gorgeous and I found that once a single breakfast rolled around there was none left.
I'm glad your boys liked it! And any excuse to buy new kitchen equipment is welcome (I bought a new springform pan for this one too).
